Who We Are

Our History

Centre 360 is part of St Francis Social Services which was established in 1981 by the Franciscan Friars to provide opportunities for community members to assist people on the periphery of society. Over time, St Francis Social Services has evolved its service offering and now provides two specialist services - Centre 360 Youth and Family Service, targeting disadvantaged young people, and House of Welcome, which supports individuals and families seeking asylum.

Originally known as the Come In Youth Resource Centre, it provided a safe space for homeless young people. Over time, as the eastern suburbs evolved, so did the needs of the young people in the area. So Centre 360 refined its offering to provide a holistic service that responds to the needs of young people who are experiencing mental health distress.

Our counsellors use a range of clinical interventions and techniques from psychotherapy, art psychotherapy, clinical social work, family therapy and psychology. Our team have a wide range of life and professional experiences relevant to the needs, rights and interests of young people.
